All the towns around Geneva lake are incredibly beautiful, including Montreux! The huge water body, snowy mountain peaks behind it, blue sky and Christmasy decorations paint a picture worth hanging on a wall.
Unfortunately, also a big, fat disappointment came across. Apparently Christmas market on Sunday is a red light to go to Mountreux. It seemed like the whole Switzerland came to visit this market. We looked for a parking spot for about an hour and ended up parking few kilometers away up a hill. As we anyway planned on a little hike, it wasn't such a bad thing in the end :)
Next time, I'm coming here by public transport :p
