On the way to Nice we visited Monaco. It's split in two cities - Monaco and Monte Carlo We managed to walk through both of them on foot. This is a country of great cars. I probably never saw so many Ferrari and Mercedes on one place. The first Ferrari LaFerrari we saw, was actually having Lithuanian number plate :)
Buildings here are very densely located. The narrow streets limit and slow down the rather heavy traffic. Most of the streets and rows of houses are built steeply up the mountain in levels, thus to go from one parallel street to other, one might need to take stairs. Unsurprisingly, it made us travel short distances in longer time than we're used to. When we walked through the city down the mountain, our infinite stair climbing was rewarded with a nice walk along the beach. We went from Monte Carlo To Monaco city where there was a big yacht exhibition (carried out) by people in fancy suits.
